Stand Visualisation • Projection Mapping • Experiential Activation
Showcasing Adidas's Predator shoe, we crafted an interactive activation where participants wearing the shoe had to score a goal before a custom-engineered net fell. The projection mapping, inspired by the shoe's distinctive spikes, created a thrilling, speed-focused experience.

a closer look

The Adidas Predator Project wanted to create an engaging activation that showcased the shoe's features. I was the artist and technical lead, and I brought their vision to life by fusing creativity and technology.

I designed the projection mapping to bring the stand to life with dynamic visuals, and I also supervised the installation of the net-drop mechanism. I made sure everything was integrated seamlessly so that the activation was a success.

My role involved coming up with the concept, overseeing the installation, and managing the technical details. This project was a great example of how art, technology, and planning can come together to create an immersive experience that people love.

I used Autodesk Maya and KeyShot to create and render 3D models of the stand. I then used After Effects and Maya to render out videos to project onto the stand. Resolume Arena was used to map the visuals onto the stand. I also worked with a great development team to create a custom software for the photo op.

The Adidas Predator Project had a cool net-drop mechanism. The sensor on the ground would detect when a participant raised their foot to take a shot. This would trigger the net to fall instantly. The participant had to react quickly to avoid the net. The combination of technology and real-world interaction made the activation immersive and challenging. It was a memorable experience for everyone involved.

The Adidas Predator Project was a big hit, leaving a lasting impression on both the participants and Adidas itself. They were so thrilled with the fusion of art and technology that they asked us to set up the activation in another spot in Egypt. This opportunity not only showcased the success of the project but also highlighted the power of creativity and tech working hand in hand to create memorable brand experiences.
