In this project, I took on a dual role as both a visual artist and a technical lead. My responsibilities included crafting the visuals and arranging the seamless edit and the projection onto the Jeep.
As the project's technical lead, I assumed a hands-on role in ensuring the flawless installation of projectors and the overall setup. I lead the technical side, making certain that every detail, from the projection angles to the synchronization, aligned seamlessly to create a visually spectacular display.
This project also helped me learn more about event coordination and execution. By helping out before and during the event, I got to see how all the pieces come together to create a seamless experience. This hands-on approach gave me a better understanding of event dynamics and how to use my creative and technical skills to make events more successful.
I used a variety of software to make this installation really stand out. Adobe After Effects was my main tool for creating the dynamic visuals. Final Cut Pro helped me refine some of the editing, and Resolume Arena was the key to mapping and syncing the visuals perfectly to the Jeep's surface.
We created a celebratory projection mapping display on a Jeep to mark Jack Daniel's birthday. The dynamic visuals combined art and technology to pay tribute to the iconic brand, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone who saw it.
We pulled off a huge success despite the challenges. We had limited resources and a tight deadline, but we managed to pull it off. The collaboration with JEEP came together just a week before the event, so we only had a few days to create and execute the projection mapping show. It was a pressure-cooker situation, but we made quick decisions and worked together as a team. We rose above the challenges and delivered an amazing experience that wowed both the client and the attendees.
