The action took place in Dubai. In just one week, we put together an impressive fusion of projectors, specialised sensors, and visuals to create an immersive experience. We did have a minor setback with the sensors on-site, as you would in most experiential activations, but we quickly resolved the issue and the event went off without a hitch.
The result was a captivating wall that wowed event attendees. The activation was so mesmerising that people couldn't help but talk about how it worked.
As the Creative and Technical Director on-site, I consolidated and led both the creative and technical teams throughout the entire project. I oversaw the installation of the sensors and projectors, and I also worked hands-on with the projectors and sensors to ensure that they were properly calibrated and working together seamlessly.
The client was so happy with the results that they asked us to replicate the activation in India. This success also paved the way for future projects, such as our impactful second collaboration with Montblanc’s StarWalker project.
In crafting this activation, we combined a set of powerful tools that blended creativity and technology seamlessly. For sketching and rendering the initial wall concepts, we relied on Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine's realtime rendering. To bring animations to life, the Adobe Suite, most importantly After Effects, played a pivotal role. Moreover, a customized software, developed in collaboration with the tech team, facilitated the interaction between the visuals and the sensors.
The "Little Prince" project was a captivating experiential activation designed to celebrate the launch of the Little Prince pen by Montblanc. Created during my time at XLAB, an experiential marketing agency, I had the privilege of serving as a creative and technical director on this extraordinary endeavor.
